Today
Today you
Do not mind
The rough brush
Of my
word-palette
As day breaks
Your morning.
My mouth
Sweeps
Over yours.
You listen
I am heard.
Like a sun ray
Flashing fiery
tones,
Like the moon
guardedly
Speaking to
earth,
Like the wind's
ears
Scanning the
crawling ground,
Like a saw tooth
knife
Slicing the
morning dew,
You hear me.
I exist
In your
listening.
You practice
Loving me
Once more.

Memoir
Sweet-souled, cocoa-crested,
dark-invested, near,
I was your chocolate-layered
Psyche, dear.
Now I sweat desire-rain where
you had lain,
Search flowerbeds to catch your
scent again.
Selene-bewitched I hang out
with the stars
Cloud-bequeathed I dare
beguile Mars.
Yes, I am gone as gone as one may
be.
Look now within and surely you
will see,
My memoir resting on your
purple heart,
My
jealous spirit- a major work of art.
